Outdoor Singing Bird Clock Thermometer Instructions

ATTACHING MOUNTING BRACKET TO CASE

1. Remove Mounting Bracket and Clock/Thermometer Case

carefully from packaging.

2. Connect Mounting Bracket Post to top of Clock/Thermometer

Case using the included screw. (see diagram ).

IMPORTANT! The following instructions must be followed exactly to

ensure that the correct sound is heard for each hour.

SETTING THE TIME/BATTERY INSTALLATION

1. Open Clock/Thermometer Case by releasing latches located at

top right and bottom right side of case. (see diagram)

2. Turn the handset knob on the clock movement to read 10 minutes

before 1:00 o’clock. (12:50)

3. Insert 1 “AA” size battery (not included) into the single battery

clock movement compartments and 2 “AA” size batteries (not

included) into the 2 battery sound case. Make sure that the battery

polarity (+/-) is as indicated.

4. Turn the handset knob to adjust to desired time.

Note: Each time the set/test button (located on lower 2 battery

sound case - see diagram) is pressed, this resets sounds to the next

hour. If pressed, you must follow instructions above or you will not

hear the correct sounds with each hour.

1:00 –American Robin 7:00 –Mourning Dove

2:00 –Northern Mockingbird 8:00 –Black-capped Chickadee

3:00 –Blue Jay 9:00 –Northern Cardinal

4:00 –House Wren 10:00 –White-throated Sparrow

5:00 –Tufted Titmouse 11:00 –White-breasted Nuthatch

6:00 –Baltimore Oriole 12:00 –House Finch

GENERAL INFORMATION

To clean the outside surface, use a clean, dry, soft cloth to wipe away ﬁngerprints or dust. Do not use any solvents or abrasive

cleaners to polish.

BATTERY NOTICE

1. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc), or rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) batteries.

To avoid leakage or explosion, do not put batteries in ﬁre.

2. Replace the batteries if the timekeeping becomes erratic or hourly sounds become abnormal, as this may be an indication that batteries

are becoming worn out.

3. Remove the batteries if product is to be left unused for a long time. Clean the battery contacts prior to battery installation.

MOUNTING THE CLOCK/THERMOMETER TO OUTSIDE FIXTURE

1. Locate where you wish to mount your Clock/Thermometer. It is recommended to not mount in direct sunlight as this will affect the

accuracy of the thermometer. ( ideally mount under an overhang or awning )

2. Use the pre-drilled Bracket Mounting Holes as indicators to mark the location of screws on surface to be mounted to. Drill holes in surface,

attach with screw suited for the surface you are mounting to. (screws not included)
