OPERATIONS MANUAL DESIGN-IT-YOURSELF CLOCK
Thank you for purchasing the Design-It-Yourself Clock that will make a great addition to any room. Bring out the designer in you by inserting your
favorite photos, personalized art or quotations into the 12 individual Black Display Frames, one for each hour. We have also included individual hour
numbers from 1-12 that can be inserted into the display frames as an alternative. In addition, we have included a template to use to trace and cut
out your individual inserts. This template is located underneath the individual Number 1 Hour insert. Mount the Mechanical Dial to any wall surface
and surround it with the frames to finish designing your clock. It will become an instant conversation piece!
INSERTING HOUR NUMBERS, PHOTOS, ART, OR QUOTATIONS INTO FRAMES
1) Insert finger into large hole in back of individual Display Frames and pull apart (See Fig. 1).
2) Insert Hour Numbers (included), Photos, Art or Quotations inside frames facing toward front.
3) Close the frame by pushing the two individual pieces together.
SETTING THE TIME
1) Twist and pull to open the Mechanical Dial (See Fig. 2).
2) Insert 1 “AA” size battery (not included) into the battery compartment located inside the
Mechanical Dial.
3) Make sure that the battery polarity (+/-) is as indicated.
4) Turn the handset knob to adjust to desired time.
You are now ready to mount the Mechanical Dial and individual Display Frames to any wall surface.
*Please note that you will need to purchase appropriate hardware to mount your Design-It-Yourself
Clock to the wall. We do not provide mounting hardware simply because of the variety of
installation possibilities.
BATTERY NOTICE
1) To avoid leakage or explosion, do not put battery in fire.
2) Replace the battery if the timekeeping becomes erratic, as this may be an indication that battery
is becoming worn out.
3) Remove the battery if product is to be left unused for a long time. Clean the battery contacts prior
to battery installation.
